This site covers two things: entering Vietnam, and moving around inside it. It is written for people planning a first trip, not for residents.

The site takes no payments, sells no visa services, and collects no personal data. It is a reference: facts with sources, plus interpretation that says what the fact means for a traveller.

Where a question falls outside what can be sourced, the page says so instead of filling the gap. Open questions are recorded rather than answered by guesswork.
